MOMEON is a space to preserve the seconds that count. A memory, a meeting, a decision, an emotion, a tiny or immense moment. Because there may be a person behind every Momeon, we ask everyone to preserve their moments with the same care they would want for their own.

1. Our Principle

Your moment belongs to you. So does your freedom — as long as it respects that of others.

MOMEON does not aim to decide what deserves to be kept. We step in when content or use of the service crosses the limits necessary to respect people, the law, or the operation of the service.

2. What You Can Publish

You may preserve a memory, an emotion, a meeting, a promise, an achievement, a departure, a new beginning, or simply a second whose importance only you know. A moment doesn't need to matter to others to matter to you.

3. Prohibited Content

It is notably prohibited to publish:

  • threats or calls for violence;
  • content glorifying or encouraging violence;
  • harassment or intimidation;
  • hateful or discriminatory content;
  • fraudulent or illegal content;
  • impersonation;
  • passwords or banking data;
  • confidential information you are not entitled to disclose;
  • personal data about others without appropriate basis;
  • private contact details of others without right or authorization;
  • medical information about others where its publication infringes their rights;
  • any sexual content involving a minor;
  • any content infringing intellectual property;
  • any content intended to compromise or disrupt the service.

4. Mentioning Another Person

You may mention a person's name in a Momeon. A name may however constitute personal data when it allows identifying a person. You should therefore ensure that information published about others may legally be used and shared. A Momeon can be personal without becoming intrusive.

5. Public Momeons

Before making a Momeon public, verify that you genuinely accept making its content accessible to others. Do not publish confidential information or information you are not entitled to make public.

6. Reporting a Momeon

If you believe a Momeon breaks the rules, infringes your rights, or contains illegal content, use the "Report this Momeon" feature when available. You can also write to: momeon.contact@gmail.com

7. Handling Reports

A report may be reviewed based on its nature, context, and available information. MOMEON may:

  • take no action;
  • request additional information;
  • temporarily limit visibility;
  • make the content inaccessible;
  • delete the Momeon;
  • restrict certain features;
  • suspend an account;
  • close an account in case of serious or repeated violation;
  • take the measures necessary to comply with the law.

8. Emergency Measures

When content presents a serious and immediate risk to a person, MOMEON may take immediate measures. Where required by law, certain information may be communicated to the competent authorities.

9. False Reports

The reporting system must be used in good faith. Knowingly false, malicious reports, or reports intended to divert the moderation system may constitute abuse of the service.

10. Deleted Content

Certain technical information relating to a moderation decision may be retained where necessary for security, compliance with the law, or the exercise of rights.

11. Our Approach

We want MOMEON to remain a simple, intimate, and respectful space. We protect the space. We do not judge the moment.
